About the Paphos–Limassol Intercity Route
The Paphos to Limassol service runs east along the A6 coastal motorway, linking the west of Cyprus with its main port city. It is the canonical onward leg for travellers landing at Paphos Airport (PFO) who do not have a direct coach to their final destination — most chain a Paphos town stop with the intercity coach to Limassol, then change for Nicosia or Larnaca. Coaches depart from Karavella station in Paphos and terminate at the Limassol intercity station near the old port.
How Often Buses Run
Eastbound services run multiple times a day, with most departures concentrated in daytime hours and Sunday services thinner. Use the live map above to confirm the next coach is on the road — useful given the longer gaps between services compared to the busier Nicosia–Limassol corridor.
Tips for the Paphos–Limassol Bus
- 1Depart from Karavella station, not the local Kato Paphos stops.
- 2For onward Nicosia or Larnaca travel, change at the Limassol intercity station.
- 3Sit on the left for sea views on much of the eastbound journey.
- 4Last departures are earlier on Sundays — double-check the tracker.
